WaterCop WC-WCSCLV SmartConnect
Water leaks are one of the main causes of damage to homes that can often lead to costly repairs. Often times, even when a valve is shut off, water will have already spilt at it could be a few hours before you notice that a leak has occurred. By adding the SmartConnect to your WaterCop Classic or WaterCop PRO, you can receive notifications directly to your smartphone using the free app and cloud service.
The WaterCop SmartConnect connects to the WaterCop classic and WaterCop Pro I/O port and then connects via WiFi or wired Ethernet to your local Internet-enabled network.
Installation is simple and you only require an internet connection to be able to start receiving notifications on the status of your WaterCop system once youFTve installed the app from either the Apple app store or Google Play. Know about every automatic closure and power outages at the touch of a button.
The SmartConnect unit is powered by the WaterCop AUX I/0 port through a CAT5 or CAT6 cable. It can be connected with up to 50' CAT5 or CAT6.
NOTE: WaterCop systems WCACT1, WPMS, and WPMSH units will need an external power supply, ACA100 (sold separately).
