Be alerted when a car enters or leaves your driveway with the Dakota Alert VS-125 hardwired driveway probe! The magnetic probe detects moving vehicles and metal objects, such as moving cars, motorcycles and trailers in a 10-12 ft radius of the sensor probe.
The magnetic sensor can be installed beside or under the driveway and the (250 ft) direct burial cable runs back to the indoor control panel. When a change in the magnetic field is detected by the probe, it sends a signal to the control box which sounds an internal whistle.
The plugin control box features an on/off switch, probe sensitivity control and a set of 12-volt DC (500mA max) contacts allowing it to connect to an external automation system, alarm, strobe light, small siren or bell. Note: Connecting to an alarm or automation system may require a relay.
*Up to three wired probes can be used per control box.
