The FGD 1400’s enhanced features include the ability to sense and issue alarms on ultra-low temperatures down to -85 degrees Celsius, a sealed enclosure for added durability, a rechargeable battery backup, recordable voice messaging, and the capability to monitor 4-20mA. The FGD 1400 is packaged in a sealed, lockable NEMA4X rated enclosure to withstand harsher environments.
What is NEMA 4X?
Intended for use indoors or outdoors to protect the enclosed equipment against corrosion, splashing water, seepage of water, failing or hose directed water, and severe external condensation. They are sleet-resistant. They shall have conduit hubs or equivalent provision for watertight connection at the conduit entrance and mounting means external to the equipment. |
